I cooked this time! I made fresh ravioli pasta with pesto sauce fa-ahh-rum scratch! It took a long time and was a lot of work, but I listened to Simon and Garfunkel's "Bridge Over Troubled Water" loudly (and a few more of their albums as my hands were full and I could not change the music) and was able to get way into the ravioli-making zone. Thankfully all of my hard work paid off. I think I would have cried if turned out any other way. A meal made from scratch is far more delicious and rewarding.

While Andrew and I both have our cooking specialties, Andrew is easily becoming the head chef of the household. Yesterday, he made the fresh pasta noodles, the French bread, and the Pea and Asparagus Risotto all from scratch! As it turns out, fresh pasta is surprisingly easy to do and makes all the difference in the universe when it comes to taste, consistency and enjoyment. Bear in mind, I helped a teeny tiny bit by running to the store for additional flour, keeping him company, hanging the pasta to dry after cutting it, and taking photos, but none of that really matters. Thanks Andrew! You're the best!
