Grilled cheese sandwiches that are actually grilled, what?? Yes, the grilling makes the bread so crispy and flavorful, making the whole melty cheese part that much more enjoyable. We used a combination of three cheeses, creamy havarti, colby cheddar, and jarlsberg swiss cheese. For extra flavor, we added fresh dill from our garden, pepper, a touch of dijon mustard, and tomatoes. This might just have to happen every weekend, it was so good! Oh yeah, don't forget the red wine and sourdough bread.
