Jonathan Franzen.

I just finished reading Franzen's latest novel "Purity."
I've read two of his earlier novels "the Corrections" and "Freedom,"
but I'd say this was my favorite yet.

There's a great interview here or learn more here

Must Read.

There are books you get through and books you fly through. This book is the latter.
I loved it and highly recommend it.

Winter Journal: A powerful & compelling new memoir. "An intensely sensuous account of strange and dramatic events punctuated by jazzy lists of everything from the places he's called home to his favorite foods. Auster's most piercing recollections are anchored to injury and illness, close calls and bad habits, age and ‘the ghoulish trigonometry of fate.' ... Auster is startlingly forthright, mischievously funny, and unfailingly enrapturing as he transforms intimate memories into a zestful inquiry into the mind-body connection and the haphazard forging of a self."

Great Reads.

I've owned the "The Corrections" for maybe 10 years, but couldn't (or maybe wouldn't) start it, maybe I wasn't ready for it? But recently, I flew through it and now I want everyone to read it. It was then followed by "Kafka on the Shore," which I also couldn't put down. I know these books aren't the latest releases, but if you haven't read them, please do. They're so great!
