Around the House.

I found this round table at Goodwill for $40! I love the chrome metal base!  Thank goodness for thrift stores.

Our Sofa Arrived!

It's been 6 weeks since we ordered our sofa and it finally arrived this weekend! Hooray! So excited to finally have access to our vinyl records and to be able to use the new white shelves we got from some friends who recently moved to Berlin. Starting to feel settled here. :)

Around the house / Camera Experiments.

Wanted to achieve the super grainy "dream-like" photo look, but I think I set my ISO a little too high. Will try again soon. :)

Lucas can't get enough of the second to last plant, he nibbles on it and rubs his head against it, so I'm constantly peeling pieces off. ....the challenges of mixing indoor cats and plants.

Rearranged some furniture this last weekend for our newly inherited hutch, our new stereo receiver we found last weekend at a thrift store for $2 and for our very own print by Stacey Rozich!

Horses.
Joan of Arc.
Horse Painting, small watercolor portrait done by an awesome school friend Anna Nash, and a Joan of Arc print created by a dear instructor Larry Sommers, who was smart, quick, hilarious, and one who brightened everyone's day. One of the greatest people I've ever met.

It's Starting to Feel Like Christmas.

Weekend.
Kitchen floor progress (Andrew did all the work)..
This weekend was almost entirely spent with "Free Time Industries," which included a sleep-over, good food, productivity, and lots of fun. Andrew and I also discovered some decent hardwood, as well as tiled flooring under our hideous linoleum kitchen floor. We'll probably rip up the tiling and run with the hardwoods (because the tiles are in rough shape), but for now we think they're pretty cool. We still have more nails and things to take out before we can even sweep or mop it, but I included some in-progress shots of it anyway. (Hope you had a lovely weekend as well)! -n
