We went camping on Shaw Island this weekend. We also went whale watching. We started out at Friday Harbor and went north to Boundary Pass which is south of Pender Island, British Columbia, where we saw the j-pod killer whales. It was the the first day they've been in the area all year. It was truly spectacular and even a little surreal. Felt really lucky to experience nature in the wild like that and to have had such nice weather for it. Fun weekend!
