Two huge highlights:
1. (first image) "The stones of the Cromeleque dos Almendres were erected in several different periods in the Neolithic era, between 5000 and 4000 BC."

2. (last image) "Built in the 16th century by a Franciscan monk, the Capela dos Ossos (English: Chapel of Bones), gets its name because the interior walls are covered and decorated with human skulls and bones."

Original Post: Andrew and I just got back from vacation! 12 nights, 15 cities, 9 hotels, 2 trains, 1 boat, a cable car, a rented car, 2 beaches, 1 territory, 3 countries and 2 continents. We flew in and out of Lisbon, Portugal and toured central/southern Portugal, Southern Spain and Morocco in between. All in all, an amazing last two weeks! Castles, white-washed towns, monkeys, vinho verde, hog roast, stone soup, gelato, tiny streets, 90 degree weather, a fado show, a flamenco show and tons of adventure.
