Ulla von Brandenburg, born in 1974 in Karlsruhe, Germany, lives and works in Paris. These images are from the Wagon Wheel exhibition at the Pilar Corrias in London, 2009-10. "Working within seemingly archaic traditions, von Brandenburg appropriates historical source material and transforms it into the present to tacitly reveal the rules that govern our social reality."
